Re the Audya, before they start doing anything new they need to fix up the old problems.
And until I see the tyros 5, which will need to have massive improvements and features over the 4, it would take a lot of convicing to change up Dear, dear, Robbo, you do sound like you have had some amount of pain what with Audya and T4, do you want to share your pain with the others in the group, a problem shared is a problem halved, well maybe not on SZ, the roof might still come in on you and you would get little sympathy if it did.

Hi Tony, no probs with the T4, great board and works every time like a charm, just don't think it's as good as my ketron audya for live work, except the audya is plagued by a freezing thing that happens randomly, so I cant trust it on live jobs. All this well documented in the audya forum here, along with other members having similar problems. My biggest beef is that Ketron must know what things are causing problems and how to address them, but they seem to have this secretive code that they only diseminate info directly to enquirers. Now this is ok until you have a problem, like infrequent freezing, and of course it takes some time to get an answer, that is if they are prepared to give you one at thier convenience. Thier PR and customer relations are non existant, they should have regular updates to owners of the things mentioned above, and even the manual diagrams in the book are blury, and you guessed it, the pdf on line is exactly the same. Things like I have a 2 tier setup, audya bottom other synth on top, cant see all buttone, but if I could take a diagramme image from the manual, copy and paste into another programe, during practice I could have it there in front of me so I know where the button is to push and so on. Here's the clincher the pdf, wont let you copy any part of the manual, you can only print the same bliry images once again.
They are very quiet at Ketron, and don't think that I dont appreciate the extra styles and so on that they offer, but for working, mmmmmmmmm. The board value is so badly affected by all of the problems, so its either take a huge hit, that is if you can get anyone to buy it, or as i'm doing hang on to it, and in end will get the answers I require to get this board the way it should be, because the live styling, bass, drums are the best, no doubt about it. So there you go. I ask Ketron "I know they look into this forum" to once and for all publish what problems have occurred, and how to fix them. Even if you have to give them your serial number to get it, that would be fine, and also, please fix the deffination in the manual on line, and take the security off it, I mean really, people better than I am can get around that. Here's hoping [/quote]
