Yeah but, Johnny Horton was from right here in Shreveport.
In fact, he was a close friend of my close friend, Dean Mathis. They were hanging out, shooting pool, shortly before Johnny left to drive to a job, and was killed that night. Just trivia.
I'm glad I only have one night off in the next 14 days!
