Do you have a friend, acquaintance, or music shop close by that has a PA500 that you could try one of your loaded cards on ? If it works on theirs, but not on yours, then you have a defective unit or maybe a corrupt OS.
when I put the card or any card i have two in the kb there is a lil icon left bottom that says card...I hit that and it shows the name of my sd card.....
also when I puish erase or copy the songs show up...BUT not when I push LOAD???
also there is a USB enable....disable could this be something?

Donny, I betting that the Pa500 and the Pa800; which I own, are pretty much alike. There are three buttons; Style – Song Play – and Sequence --- Make sure that you have selected the right button or the keyboard will not recognize what is on the SD Card.

Hey Donny
I don't mean to get in the way of Nick G's reply. Make sure you read his question above. I just realized, montunoman appears to be having a similar problem with his KMA. I'm wondering if maybe Korg got a bad batch of card readers. It's probably the same hardware circuit in both boards. It can't be a generic across the board problem, or we would be seeing more complaints, but I still find it hard to believe that two experienced arranger users are having such similar problems with two different new boards. The only thing Fran was emphatic about was formatting the card in the keyboard. He didn't mention anything else that he thought was "out of the ordinary" to get the card(s) to work. Maybe it's time to be talking to Korg.

That is similar to the Yamaha boards. They will only show files that pertain to the mode you are in. So, if you are in SONG mode, but in the STYLE directory on the card, it won't show any files and vice versa. Good point !
