Hi Scott, for using to perform, simpler just using the keyboard.
No doubt the guys are right.
I've loaded instrument samples into my PA800, but they're not samples I've recorded or converted ( whatever ) they were professionally done by someone who knew what they were doing.
I've fiddled round with soundfonts & drum loops etc for my PA3X, but the only reason I'd load them into my keyboard is because I need that particular sound & it doesn't exist in my keyboard . For instance , I'm converting some of my old ketron styles for my korg. Korg doesn't have the Live Drums, so it's closer to the style for me to create a Ketron Live Drum kit from samples, than it would be to try & find similar sounds in my korg. More than likely, they may not exist.
Stick with your T4, can't imagine the piano's aren't great. Personally I really like Yamaha piano's.
