On my trips overseas, I play a "house" digital Yamaha for dinners. For cocktail hour, I play a jazz guitar and a JazzKat amplifier.
I have no back-up keyboard, in case something happens to the Yamaha.
Considering portability, would the Korg Microarranger be an appropriate back-up? I could put it on top of the Yamaha to "sweeten" the piano sound and add variety, and use it directly into the JazzKat for portability and as a back-up.
What do you think? Cost is not a factor...I "ain't paying".

I'd maybe be traveling with this one, so size is a consideration. Plus, I am familiar with mini-keys. I played an old Korg micro from the 70's until about 2 years ago. It rested on top of my B-3.

Hey Gary....I must be getting younger...I am thinking of using two keyboards...the 46 pound G70 and the 56 pound MediaStation...together... ........or is that getting senile

Russ, I know how much you like B3 sounds and the korg microarranger will not disappoint you! You can control the leslie with the joy stick. The organ sounds are a real plus in this little board

The organ, electric piano and a few other things on the microarranger is what still makes me consider one if I could get used to the Emenee organ key feel. I had one of those as a kid.
