Hi Rico, as a fan of Dutch singer Caro Emerald's hit "A Night Like This",
I initially quite honestly wasn't sure how it would sound sung by a guy, but your performance convinced me otherwise.
Rico, I think you 'pulled it off' impressively. Bravo!

Until now, I've been doing this song strictly as an instrumental (utilizing a song specific style in auto accomp mode),
but now, after hearing your rendition, I may consider including vocals now.
American audiences I play for aren't initially familiar with this tune (strangely enough it didn't make the US charts),
but once they hear it, I get repeated requests to play it again.
Even my Mom has become a big fan of Caro Emerald's music.

Actually its not that strange... there is a big difference between american charts and european charts, reccord companies often time dont sell anything but their biggest stars oversees, this goes for both europe and US.

Even worse, in europe a lot of music never gets over the countries borders. We have some very impressive dutch singers that all sing in English that have a hard time selling anything abroad.

Caro is just one of them, some others are just as brilliant.



Seems the music market is still a strange beast.

Excelent song, I actually do not know the song but I have the song style and I use it to play Perhaps, Perhaps or in Spanish Quiza, Quiza, Quiza.
