I was about to buy a Casio Privia 330 but after playing it a few times, I decided I'm not happy with the sound and that it's not for me. That leaves the Yamaha P155 in the running. It's
a nice keyboard...looks and feels good and built like the Rock of Gibralter. I'm impressed with the Yamaha line.
Sam Ash is having a huge sale this weekend and I could save some good money if I buy now.
But this is something I don't want to rush if I can help it. Do any of you have any experiences with, or remarks about, or general advice about buying a digital piano in the Yamaha line? Or Kawai even? Or whatever you want to recommend I look at? Main requirements would be portability (weight (under 50 lbs), authentic sound, and real keyboard feel, appx $1,000.
I'd like to do some dedicated research on whatever you come up with and hope I can make a decision by Sunday.
