Love IT, Fran! There is a pre-WW11 5 manual Wurlitzer connected to a Wente Mignon player unit at a club I play. UD saw it on his trip to Kentucky.

I dressed in my finest Phantom of the Opera costume and had a photo taken a while back sitting at the keyboard.

Regards,

Russ

About this one....The Golden one is the Barton that was in the Chicago Stadium and my friend Bob Roppolo acquired, then years later, he sold it to Phil Maloof. I went to his home in Las Vegas and recorded something that he needed for a project in China.....
Here also a link where you can see the very same organ,
Uncle Phil Maloof at the Barton
He has an amazing collection of the largest working Theatre Pipe organs at his home, he has 5 besides MANY, many other collections, the picture where I am at the Kimball, that actually was more fun to play than the Barton.

Hi Tony:

The house has 2 parts, the living quarters, 5000 Sq. ft. and the annexe is 11,000 Sq Ft. where all the Theater Pipe organs are setup, needless to say, all this has to be temperature controlled, other wise the Pipe organs go out of tune.
It was an awesome experience to see how the ULTRA-mega rich have their hobbies. monalisa

Russ lets see the photo, that will start a new 200 thread hit, could you reach the peddles and the top manual at the same time .... organ sitting at the KB is no good you need to be playing at it.. rotfl
