Does anyone know if and how it's possible to record volume changes (automation) within a style. It's easy to do it with Pan, Expression, Filter, and other parameters, but doesn't seem to work with volume.

If you are talking about the style parts; the answer is yes.
I have done it several times.

1. Choose a style
2. Go to Menu to the right next to the display
3. Click on digital recording (style)
4. Click on style Creator
5. Stay on the basic tap
6. Choose Variation button (A-D) you want to edit (big blue buttons. Or Intro/Ending
7. Click OK in the display
8. Click the mixing console twice
9. Chance the volume to your liking on any Style part
10. Repeat step 6-9 as needed
11. Hit Exit to get back to the style creator page
12. Use the tap button to go to Style Assembly
13. Click save and choose destination.

But that doesn't give you automation. It just allows you to set the volume. I'm trying to put a volume CHANGE in the middle of the 3rd measure. So 1 and 2nd measure are volume 50, measure 3 is volume 75, and measure 4 back to 50. I can do this with Pan, but can't figure out how to do it with Volume.

Any ideas?

Sorry, I misunderstood the question.
You might be able to do it in the style creator under advanced setting...
