A while back Tony Mads recommended:

http://www.newyorkcasecompany.com/

.....as the best case he's ever seen (or something like that).

I called them and realized they also sell Hybrid cases of which I have a few of them already. They were good cases when I bought them about 10 years ago. Anyone have any experiences with them recently? Same quality still?

I also called SKB. Their cases are strong but heavy. It would add another 25 lbs to a keyboard.

I wouldn't mind going with a soft shell even, but I can't seem to find anything decent as far as protection goes. Years ago the soft shell cases were almost as good as the plywood ones, but now GC and Sam Ash seem to handle only cheap-o's.

Suggestions?

Mark

Hi Mark

This is a link about the one I had made for my T4. It's the same company Tony used. I had seen their ads on ebay for years but figured they would be the typical 30+ lbs you get with a plywood case. Not so, only 20 lbs. Others have bought from them with good results.

Hope this helps.

I have one too. Nice cases and I was surprised how quick I got my custom made case. The price was resonance too.
