I have a friend who goes on steroid medication, and he definitely goes a bit potty on them! I am constantly having to talk him down from a bad attack of GAS (Gear Acquisition Syndrome!) or he goes out and impulse buys all sorts of things!
Make sure the wife has a firm grip on the purse strings for a while!
