Would you guys recommend a program for converting CD's to MP3s?
I want to put them on my Web Page. I can't upload to my site from my CD. I guess I'll have to save them in a folder after I convert them to MP3s to get them into my site? Hey any input is welcomed.

Just use Windows Media Player if your running windows. But you need to change it from the default WMA to MP3:
Tools -> Options -> Rip Music -> Format (select MP3)

and I rip at 320kbps.

Thanks everyone.

Tonewheel, John, in Windows Media I don't see where I can choose
tools or options! I clicked Rip and it checked the boxes for the songs. And I clicked MP#, 320kbps it started. Now I need to figure out what to do to get them on my site.
Yhanks again!!

Hi Boo

Older WMP: Move your mouse to the top of WMP and the menu bar should appear with the tools option.

Later WMP: Click the 3 squares and arrow at the top right of WMP to access the settings.

Check with your website host, as there may be limits on the amount of downloads you are allowed, (Data Limit) particularly with the basic packages. (Also consider linking to a dedicated download site (Box for example) to store your downloads)

WMA files are much smaller for the same quality then MP3 files so you can save space by using this format.

Hope this helps

Bill

Bill,
Thanks! I'm having a time trying to load my mp3s to my site. I need to locate a video I watched a week ago if I can find it. If i do I'll put it in my bookmarks.
Boo
