I have a chance to buy an almost unused KN7000 but it has a few minor spots from sliding on a dolly. Not sure they will come off but if they don't, how difficult is it to remove my present KN7000 case that looks new and put on the other? Is the keyboard in two sections--one piece (gray top)and the other, the black bottom portion or is it all one piece? Thanks, Mark

Thanks, Roger. My main concern was if there were any connections underneath the top that had to be disconnected before fully removing the top.

Might well be Mark - I did it a couple of weeks ago to remove a business card which had slipped down the side of the modulation wheel and I sensed that I could only gingerly lift the upper part so far off the lower part. I guess I should have had a peek underneath whilst I was at it but once I'd retrieved the business card I was only too glad to screw the upper part back down and check that everything was still working...Perhaps the service manual above has more to say...
