Yep, all those Russ and Herbie Hancock, George Duke, Chick Corea, et al, started making some solid inroads into the mainstream in the 70's. Not too shabby an era. I still love the Philly area stuff, Gamble and Huff, Thom Bell, etc.

Hard to think of the Seventies as anything BUT the zenith of the Pop years!

Is that legal? smile

Wow, you're not suppose to be able to do that. Amazing, and the bass player was also fantastic. She related? Almost forgot about Beck, shame on me, so thanks for reminding me how inovative he was.

Nice stuff, Nigel...Beck was always a favorite of mine. What a nice tone he has in that tune.

The Bass Player is "hot" in more ways than one. wink

The bass player is from Australia...Tai Wilkenfeldt(SP?) or something like that. I've seen her at Summer NAMM's and on some network talk shows with Beck.

The second coming of Jaco... (OK, maybe not, but she's sure hotter!). Make sure you check out Jeff Beck's 'Live at Ronnie Scott's' DVD. Outstanding!

I love Tal's musicianship ... and hotness. Jeff always picks talented players to work with. I have seen him live on many occasions. Whenever he plays anywhere near me I always make sure to catch him. I am never disappointed. His music has a magical quality. And you are so right about the "Live At Ronnie Scott's" DVD it sure is outstanding. Anyone who love Jeff's music should do themselves a favor and add this DVD to their collection.
