When I looked in on this forum tonight, there was an invitation to download software that allows you to zip-up music for attachment etc. I decided to try it out so downloaded it and it almost took over my Home Page and just would not go away. Three times I used Task Manager to clear it, but each time I logged on to Internet Explorer, there it was again. Finally, using the Control facility I managed to uninstall it.

Now! I don't know what other members think, but I hate these type of pop-ups/adverts that insist on taking over my pc like that - who do they think they are? If I wanted them as my Search Engine, I would seek them out myself. Grrrrhhhhhh!

Not sure if this is what Audrey is referring to, but in any case, to me this site, that was in a previous thread, just looks suspicious. It may be legit, but to me, it just didn't seem right.

It was at the bottom of the Forum Nigel. I was thinking of attaching one of my songs and as you had said to go to the full screen at the bottom that's where I was heading, but couldn't get past this darn thing.

However, I did a complete scan of my computer and everything appears to be in order. You'll be pleased to know that it isn't showing at the moment, so maybe one of my securities have dealt with it - hope so anyway.

No Audrey, if you just post a new message or click on "Reply" to someones post you don't have to do anything, the "File Manager" is always available for attaching files.

It is only if you use the "Quick Reply" box there is a button on the bottom of the box there ( not the page ) that says "Switch To Full Screen Reply" that then makes the "File Manager" available. You never need to click on those Google ads unless you want to.
