Hi my friend,

I follow everything over the Yamaha forum. In my opinion:

1. The audio parts are fixed. Cannot mix & match with other styles.
2. You want more audio styles, you buy them from Yamaha.
3. This requires a reboot before you could use them.
4. Record to USB does not record any audio parts. The player is used to play them.
5. Some who compared to S910, say it's not worth the upgrade.
6. Eileen says it plays all the Tyros 4 styles?
7. Audio multipads do not follow chords.
8. Some say effects on audio drums do not match rest of style effects.
9. Comes with only 25 audio styles.
10. New onboard speakers sounds good.

That's about what I can think of reading for now. I'll update when I can think of more. It's definitely not even a weak competitor for the Audya.

Keep well all my friends,

Henni

I think its good that Yamaha are dipping their toes in the water using the somewhat antiquated technolgy available to them, Ketron have been using live drums in rom for like 10 or 12 years. But at least they are having a go, however until they develop streaming technology its always going to be living with workarounds.
