Hi Bernie,

On my AJAMSONIC upgrade, the following styles have missing voices on intro 3: (I'm sure they'll be missing on other style sections also)

A New Zouk missing Ch5
A Progress Dance missing Ch4 & Ch5
A Real Dance missing Ch4
A House Dance missing Ch3
A Disco heat missing Ch3
An Indian Dance missing Ch3
Ballad Techy missing Ch1
Ethnic Tropic missing Ch1
Rock Horses missing Ch2
A 12_8 Flip Flop missing Ch3
1 Drop Reggae missing Ch5
A Tropical Island missing Ch1 & Ch2
Crucial Reaggae missing Ch5
Love Samba missing Ch1
Midnight Blues missing Ch3
Soft Beat missing Ch4
A Guitar Beat missing Ch5
An 8 Track missing Ch3

Won't you please look on yours what voices are used so that I can fix my version?

Another easy way for you to answer my question is to list your RAM_INS voices accurately in the correct order so that I can see what I'm missing. I have 12 of them on auto-load, I suspect that your version has more...

Thank you so much my friend,

Henni

I am afraid you are asking the wrong person. Whereas I would help in any way I could, you are much more into the workings of Audya. I see a long list in RAM INS, but have no idea where the list of Auto load instruments is.

In regard to missing chord voices, I managed to spot a few of the ones in question. There are so many new styles, it is hit and miss. I am sure AJ has an appendix showing the chord make up of the styles in question.

If not, send me a PM and I will try and help in between getting ready for three gigs this week.

Bernie

Tx Bernie,

I'll wait for AJs response then. I suspect, that because of my limited onboard memory, that I'm loosing out big time on some important stuff.

Keep well my friend & congrats with your upgrade,

Henni

Hennie,

Did you alter your 64.rbk file which loads all the required voices automatically? We are working on your voice list.

As for 95% of the styles you listed above, these are correct. Since you can only use a limited number of AUDIO/WAVE files per style, we had to layer voices in many cases (i.e have say Chord 1 use 2 wave files - although showing 1 preset voice name ~ which in turn uses 2 wave files) and as such, Chord 2 would be empty ... just one of the ' "tricks" to use up to 6 wave files in one style element' discussed in our 3+hrs DVD tutorial and manual.

Bernnie, when you press the RAM/INS button, it will display the sounds loaded upon start up. Don't forget to use the ">" to view the next page! Depending on what screen you are in, it might be better (from the default screen) to press F6 - current voice first.

Thanks,

Hennie,

The Zouk Intro 3 - Chord 5 should be ORGAN BARS.
Maybe you mixed up the autoloading files so here is the correct list and order for your keyboard:-

Arp_Chem134
Arp_Brite130
Brass Shake
Hard Rock_L
H_you_s
New Nylon_L
Organ Bars (which you were missing in most styles due to possible re-arranging of voices you did).
Sax tenor Up
X_More Hook
X_Newage
Y_Tromboneup

This should then be saved as your Auto load....

Thanks,

AJ

Tx AJ,

Have not received the *.rbk file as yet. I have my autoload set up exactly as per your list, but I've added two choir voices right at the end. The Organ Bars play correctly wherever you've used it in a style, I've checked that.

It seems to me that these styles call up voices further down the memory content which are not in place as yet. I know this is the case as certain styles now call up my choir voice in memory channel 13 which, according to your list, should be empty in any case. Maybe the layered voices set up cause his, I'm not too sure...

I've experimented by putting some odd voices into some of these channels & they DO play, so the styles seem to be programmed to have something inside those channels.

I can mail you the styles in question if you'd like. However, it's really not that big a deal. I can put in voices of my liking in there, but I really like your setup of most of the styles and I'm convinced your original choices would be better than mine.

Keep well my friend,

Henni

Hi AJ,

I think you left out "Trumpet Up", which should be just below "Sax Tenor Up", making for a total of 12 voices to be loaded at start-up.

I've added two more choir voices to the bottom of those, making my total voices loaded at start=14. My on-board RAM cannot handle more than that.

So my current *rbk file is:

Arp_Chem134
Arp_Brite130
Brass Shake
Hard Rock_L
H_you_s
New Nylon_L
Organ Bars
Sax tenor Up
Trumpet Up
X_More Hook
X_Newage
Y_Trombone_Up
Shoo
Hey

Off course I had to rename one of the first two & other files in order to get them to load in that specific order. I suspect you access your *.rbk file with some other application which I would have love to have.

Keep well my friend,

Henni

A.J is the rbk file too big to attach to a post here? Otherwise attach it for all readers of this thread.
If it is more than 6.5 MB I can always push the limit higher for you.
