The 2.5 IDE hard drive, does it have 50 pins?

Actually it has 44 (minus 1 on bottom row) and 4 data select (master, slave, cable select) pins. So if you have a data cable for 44 pins, that will work ... just make sure you skip the last 4 connectors on the Ketron Disk controller circuit.
