Does anyone know where I might be able to find a repair manual for the KN5000? There are some for sale on e-bay, but I was hoping one might be available in the archives somewhere (I can dream, can't I?).

Sorry Max I haven't been able to lay my hands on one of those.

No, just curious about its technical innards. Figured I'd find out why my expression pedal doesn't work by checking out the schematic. The curse of semi-retirement; enough time to venture down pathways otherwise (or probably better) left unexplored.

Hi Nigel,

As it turns out, I was able to find one online for very little money, and downloaded it (26mb, 59 pages!). I'll be happy to share it if you can explain to me how to upload it to this site. Send me a private message.

Max, You can easily 'customise' your expression pedal to operate with your KN5000. Open the pedal and swap the soldered connections to the outer two pins on the potentiometer. That should fix it smile

Thanks Bill,

I'll give it a try and see if that works. If not, I'll just use the slide valumn control. Probably spent too much time on this already.

Thanks Max. I did the same thing before you posted this. I figured it was worth buying it myself just to put in the archive here. Thanks very much for your kind offer though.
