Hello all, Has anyone found a way to transfer live or recorded music from the KN 7000 to a computer using Windows 7? I have tried to download the Technics software but, unless I am doing something wrong, it does not work on any system after Windows XP, which I no longer have! Saved music on floppy disks and SD cards in Technics form seem to play back only on the keyboard. Is there some way to connect the 7000 to my computer and record or copy pre-recorded music directly? Thank you for any advice. computer

I play it across to my computer using Polderbits Software on my computer - just link the KN7000 sound outputs to the computer sound input.

I have Windows 7 on my computer so I installed some software called VMware Player it enables you to create a virtual operating system on top of Windows 7 then using my Windows XP CD and code installed this virtual operating system once installed you have the option to work in Windows XP or Windows 7.
By selecting Windows XP you can then install all the Technics KN7000 software,Recorder, etc, etc as if your computer was XP only
Hope this helps

To all my fantastic SynthZone friends,

I have just downloaded VMware, as several of you suggested, and am anxious now to try it out. There is something magical about this site that, no matter how strange or complicated a query may be, there is always someone, or even several, who can provide an answer or a solution!! clap

As usual, you have come through and I thank you from the bottom of my soul! I will keep you informed of my progress and success, after the holidays are over and I have more time to experiment. Meantime, may I offer you all my most sincere wishes that you have a blessed and glorious Christmas and may 2013 be a New Year filled with joy and the wonders of music we all share.
