I agree, you need to be a good player to get a good tune out of old gear as you well know. what?....you need to be a good player to get a good sound period, regardless of the gear. Not too certain about that, one chap who saw me playing said " your not playing that, it's the KB that's doing it, your just sat there" no I can't agree with you Donny, you can be average with a modern AKB and you will sound good, you would need to be bad to get clapped off stage. Or better still play to an audiance at the Tinnitus club, they won't care how you ssssssssssssssssssssssssound at least it will take away the hissssssing for a hour or so.. on the other hand you do need to get the notes in the right order.
