Dusan mentioned this in another thread
I experienced this when I was trying to tweak some styles for New Years

Can it be?
You Can't change octave of an instrument in Style Edit/View ...

Anyone?

Has Ketron left out the most basic of basic or am I too dumb to figure out how it's done?

Hi Leezone,

I saw this also some time ago. I tried it then at my XD3 and as far as I remember it was the same, it is not possible to change it, only in the record mode.

That is CRAZY how such a basic function is omitted
And then we are given a bunch of new useless things that 1% of us would use

Don't worry if that Bass Guitar sounds like an Electric Guitar
It supposed to be like that, you should have recorded it 1 octave lower in the first place

AJ, you feel our pain?

Hi Leezone,

see the following post from 2011, AJ already stated some time ago that it is not possible:

Octave

...and already at that time there were complaints

I find that hard to believe that it can't be implemented

So my question remains:
Can it be done on the T4 and/or PA3X?

Leezone... Yes... In Pa3x, and all Pa Series we can to change a octave in a style from Styles Play (Mixer/Tuning)...

In Audya we can only from Style Edit only to Record....not what has already been recorded....

That is not good Sokratis

So if we buy a style and want to change octave of any instrument in that style
We cannot?

Wow, that is crazy

I could not do that on my Yamaha PSR 3000, except by using an external program. I don't know Style Compiler at all, but I'm sure it should be able to do this.

The PA3X can maybe do this, but then it cannot play audio styles. All products have their weak & strong points, and in my opinion, the Audya has more strong points than any other make out there...
