I use the TARANTELLA style Variation 2 with Variation 1 thrown in every so often for a change.

When I was with the band in NY we would play about a half dozen St. Patty's dinner dances the weekends before and after the holiday ... I loved the bagpipe bands and Irish step dancers that would come in and perform, but I REALLY do not like corned beef and cabbage ...

I used to marvel at the Irish accordionists playing for the step dancers ... the songs seemed to defy convention in that there was no discernible chorus/bridge/chorus but the accordionist would stop playing - seemingly in the middle of a passage - and the dancers would stop right with him ...
