the s950 has new drum kits which the tyros2 does not have. RealDrums kit, Rock kit, Acoustic kit, T9, T8 and I think the arabic and turkish kits as well which to my knowledge the tyros2 lacks.

The S950 has a lot of new great sounding guitars including a slew of jazz guitars + a bunch of great SA organs. It also has a better vocal harmonizer. I would get the S950.

Even if the tyros 2 is $1420 and s950 is $2100

bang for the buck, your gonna get more from the 950 than the T2, your talking more than a half of a decade of electronic changes, more and better samples, better or atleast different styles.
