My pa3x has arrived. I must say it is impressive.
I have a expression pedal to use and it seems only to work as a damper pedal except on pad volume.
Can anyone tell me how they have set one up and which is a good choice for this pedal.?

PS I also bought the ec5 pedal. Maybe I didn't need it but it was a bargain.

1- Make sure your pedal is plugged into the "assignable" pedal jack and not the damper jack.

2- In one of the menus, you can assign a function to that pedal jack- keyboard expression should be one. Make sure you save the setting.

I love the EC5. I assign the far left button to Vocal Harmony On/off, the far right one to Break/fill. The others vary with what I want to do. Sometimes variations or fills, sometimes text files up/down, sometimes Chord Sequencer start/stop.
I use a separate sustain pedal and occasionally a volume pedal. Only need two more feet and an extra brain, and I'll be ready!
