I was offered to take part in casting of demonstrator-guys (don�t know how to put it in English) which is taking place in my country, so I made a short video of myself playing the PSR-3000:

That was a good demonstration of a demonstration ! It sounded nice and I hope it helps you get the job .

Nicely done ... ... my only suggestion would be that you smile a little to show that you are enjoying playing as much as the audience is enjoying listening ...

If you are trying to become a demonstrator, I would suggest that, after you show how obviously talented you are, show how easy it is to operate and sound good on the 3000.
Do some simple things, one or two note melodies that people recognize. And it would help to explain to the audience what you are doing.
You are such a good player that it might intimidate people into thinking they have to be that good to enjoy an arranger!

DonM, yeah, that makes sense. I was aiming to the casting crew so I could have tried too hard. But we’ll see, I guess….

I love my 3000s. And, I agree with my aging compatriot, DonM. If you're going to demo the keyboard, show your audiences/students how you make that incredible machine do what it does.

Well, they liked my video (but not only mine) and today I was in the office of Yamaha Corp Russia in Moscow. Today was my second visit there, the first one was last Thursday, and today the seminar with Peter Baartmans took place there. He was teaching me and 6 other people how to present the keyboard properly. The Yamaha wants us to help them sell the PSR-S750 and PSR-S950. Tomorrow will be the second which is also the last day of the seminar.
