Can anyone post up a review of the roland bk7m in live use please . I am unfamiliar with roland arrangers but after listening to the audya live drum and midi drum comparisons I was nicely surprised by the roland. I am a choir musician and do all the arrangements for our choirs so can someone help in the following respects :
1 how easy is it to use live with for example my korg pa1x in terms of changing styles , activating drum fills live on the fly ? 2 how easy is it to customise styles and sounds ? 3 does it have an inboard sequencer ? Cheers

I reviewed it last year. It's easy to control with a dedicated controller, like my Edirol. Haven't tried controlling it with an arranger. It does sound really great! DonM
I made some recordings with mine before I sold it and used it on several gigs. At the time I did not know how to properly setup my controller to control it so I had to always reach for it to make changes. That did not work for live gigs as you can imagine. Also, at the time it did not allow you to make changes to the Lead voices assigned to the styles. I did not like that either. That being said, the darn thing really sounded great and I have considered buying another one.
