About the only thing I didn't like was having to have so many components and their related power supplies in my setup.
I had an external vocal processor/harmonizer, which required a foot pedal and power supply. I had a laptop, and its power supply for lyrics since the BK doesn't display text files. I had to have an external screen IF I wanted to see lyrics from midi files played on the BK. I had to have a mixer and its power supply.
Of course I had a keyboard controller, and it's power supply, and sustain pedal, plus the Roland foot pedal. I was able to get this all into my setup, but was fighting to keep it looking neat. By the time I found a slot for my digital recorder and mouse for the keyboard, I was out of room, plus some.
With the Korg PA3X, the mic, harmonizer, mixer, MP3 player, text files, lyrics, etc., are all self contained. All I really need is the keyboard, stand, Korg EC5 foot switch and sound system.
Much easier and neater looking, and many more controls.
Others may not need all the peripherals I used!
