I hate to see such a great keyboard leave, but alas, it doesn't fit my needs.

Im just used to yamaha. But if you want a PRO instrument, this is definitely the way to go.

One of the unique things of the pa3x vs the older korgs is the meticulous EQ setting you can do. Esp. for the drums.

You have EQ for just about every part of the drum set. Such as, kick, snare, hi hat, crash etc. including volume and ambience settings etc. Which reminds me of the many Amb drum kits; new to the pa3x.

Message me and make me an offer. smile

I'm considering either s950 or tyros 4.

No, its not the styles. The styles are actually very good and live.

If I may, I would think it MIGHT be the fact that KORG is not an OOTB playing instrument ... it takes time and effort to make it sound the way YOU want ...
OR ... it could just be that shim LIKES yammies better, ... grin

Hi Shim,
that's a pity. I still think it was your DAW that was giving you the problems with the "midifile" style editing. I've never encountered the problems you did with either of my pc sequencers.
Hopefully it was more than that, that made you decide to sell.

I spent well over a year on my Ketron SD1 trying to work out a way to edit user styles using a pc sequencer & EMC,
( style converting/editing was my hobby). Eventually even I gave up on that one, and in those days I didn't give up easily.
I know how frustrating it can be one something just doesn't seem to work.

best wishes
Rikki

shim ... thanks for that ... as a Pa600 owner, I do not usually go to the Pa3x forum ... but I have to look at your post and see what I can adapt for the Pa600 ...
there is no doubt the KORGs take some work, but when it is done, it is well worth it ...
thanks again ...
