Robbo:

Yes, if I bump or tap on the metal part of the keyboard, the LT Channel comes back on.

However, not always! Sometimes the Lt Channel will sputter while playing and a bump will sometimes correct it. If not, a reboot will usually correct it. Sometimes 2 or 3 reboots are needed.

So obviously from the symptoms, there is no guarantee that it is a or just a bad solder job.

It could be a couple of problems. These kind of things are hard to trouble shoot.

Unfortunately not much help has come from AJ or Ketron!

If I have time next week, I'll tear into the keyboard and see what I can find.

I'll post the results and my opinions.

Jim

Is your Left output problem still gone?

I sure wish I had a location for that bad solder joint. I have the keyboard apart right now, just don't know where to look!

50,000 solder joints in this machine!

Thanks for the link. I'll email them and see if I can get an answer about the solder location.

I would have enjoyed their web site, however my Swedish isn't so good!

Thanks for your help.
