AUDIO OUTPUT Resolution:-

To those having issues with outputs on their AUDYA keyboards - Unplug all connectors to/from the SOUND board and re-connect making sure they are fit tightly (especially volume control connector linking the Sound board and the top panel display board which contains the the white, yellow and black cables) - if this is not properly secured, you may experiene volume drop when moved or no total min. volume when potentiometer is dropped all the way "down".

This should help.

Thanks,

AJ

AJ, you should not be encouraging people to open their Audya's. Particuarly if they are under warranty and especially if they are not your customers. It is the responsibilty of the dealer/distributor to sort out potential hardware problems.

The Audya is a tricky instrument to open and its easy to damage boards and cables - Even just getting the screws out from under the front of the keys is a little akward.

If any UK customers are reading this and are experiencing the problems mentioned, please IGNORE AJ's comments (AJ is trying to help but is not a KETRON employee) and contact your dealer or Ketron UK instead (regardless of warranty status)
