Has anyone had any success or or do you know someone who's had success with the Electric Cigarette? Is any one brand better than another etc.
My son is interested in giving this a try. I want to help him. Will you please help me with any info you may want to share.
Thanks a bunch,
Boo

A pacifier is cheaper and just as effective.

My daughter has been on one of these electric smokes now for over a year and has only increased her addiction to the act of smoking.

Women do have more difficulty than men in quitting because they are so full of stress. ;-)

I have a friend at my golf club who has smoked all his life, and he went to them about a month ago. He says they have as much or more "kick" than regular cigarettes, but there is no smoke or smell to bother non-smokers. And they are certainly more economical than paying the current prices for the real thing.
Another friend in Dallas says basically the same thing.
I never smoked so can't give advice about quitting but I know it's really hard from watching friends fight it.
I think the electronic ones are a replacement for smoking cigarettes, not an aid to stopping.

Don's right Boo ... I'm 71, smoked since 5th grade. I haven't had a cigarette since last November, I am now hooked on elec cigs. I asked my doctor about it and he said that e-cigs are certainly much better than real cigs. He added that there has not been enough studies about what's in 'em so he hesitates to recommend them - generally. However, in my case he did notice a marked improvement in my lungs and told me he didn't see any reason for me to stop using the e-cigs ...
Ciao,
Jerry
