Jim, I'm old - not dead! wink She's a real nice gal, and wants to go sailing with me before the season ends. She kept track of me the entire time I was on the sail to the Florida Keys last winter via a Spot Personal Locator, which pinpoints my boat's position anywhere in the world at the touch of a button. It fires a signal up to a satellite, which is then sent to up to 8 email addresses. It's a great safety device and the service is just $100 a year.

The S-950 sounded awesome - I am really impressed. I'm still in the learning stages, especially with the SA voices. There is probably a playing technique that I have to master with these, but I have to find a source of information on that. Maybe one of the forum members can provide a tutorial link for the SA voice playing technique.

Cheers,

Gary 8)

Gary, I believe one of the manuals has explanation of what each SA voice does. Also try, the voice demos on board, I seem to remember they have an explanation.

Gary next to each sound there is a DEMO button to give you an idea of what the sound can do...try them all. I also hope you swapped all your "onboard 3k styles" with a comparible S950 one.....this will offer more Mega, etc into your styles.. keys

I reread my post and meant to say peek! You might go peak when you're on the boat together.

The 950 looks terrific and promising. But every time I have a few drinks, etc, the PA series just seems so musical in comparison.

Have fun with the ladies Gary - they sure like you!

Donny, I found there is a special button dedicated to provide information on the playing techniques for each of the voices - it's #7 button on the voice page. Another neat feature that never existed in the past.
