Yep, there were several people that figured Yamaha would never make a 76'er, including yours truly...about the same as the number of people predicting Roland would produce another TOTL 76-note arranger.

The first bunch...well, doggonit, we were wrong, but, the outcome was entirely positive, and people are very happy to see Yamaha's new 76'er (including a few from the second bunch).

Now that second bunch, well, they were wrong as well, but, but unfortunately, the outcome wasn't so positive...no TOTL whatsoever.

Now, as in the case of the first bunch, being wrong wasn't so bad at all.

The second bunch? Well.....mmmmmmm.....their case was more sad than bad!

But one thing was right for sure...Nigel starting this great forum..

I must say, I enjoy this site immensely, and I have met great people here, quite a few becoming valued close friends.

You are probably correct...I think he did inherit it from Chris Hansen.

The important thing is that Nigel has had the patience and skill to keep it going for us to enjoy.

I haven't had this much fun since my ex mother-in-law fell down the basement stairs and into the coal bin (and no, I didn't push her).

There were a few close calls with this site, as far as I know, but Nigel "kept 'er between the poles".

Your site,The Unofficial YAMAHA PSR Resource Site. was the very first site I got styles and info from...I believe Simon Williams had SVP World forums on the go at that time (now closed since November 1, 2009) as well.

We are very lucky to have sites like yours and Nigel's Synth Zone as well as PSR Tutorial. The arranger culture is all the richer for them.

That's pretty much as complete as it gets...I've sent more Yamaha players to your site than I can count. Between you and Joe Waters (PSR Tutorial, you guys have the best (and probably longest running) Yamaha-centric sites on the Internet, and provide help (and goodies) so that both new, and experienced, players get the most enjoyment from their keyboards.
