This time of year is when I get to wear some really fancy duds, satin shirts, and really neat vests. I've been purchasing them from Six Star Uniforms for years, and this year's lineup of new vests is pretty awesome. Gary, great tip thanks. I bought my last few vests at a Tuxedo store that were used for rentals and selling them at a discount, but even at the discount they cost what your supplier sells new ones for.

Don, you're right on the money - that was at the last Shreveport Jam in Ernest's Restaurant.

I thought you folks might enjoy looking at the collection that Six Star offers. And, the prices are great. Some plain vests I purchased in years past cost, fairly plain ones, went for $80 from tuxedo rental shops. I just purchased four new ones for just over $100 including shipping costs.

I've always prided myself in my appearance when on stage. I get lots of complements on my attire from both the audiences and my activities directors. If you look like a pro entertainer it's a lot easier to command pro entertainer rates.
