One of the positive changes I hear on Tyros 5 is
that Yamaha has at last finally removed the excessive reverb
inherent in their voice samples and styles on prior models.
I think this change, along with Yamaha's improved DSP's greatly
contribute to the impressive sound quality & clarity of Tyros 5.

Without the music drowning in excessive reverb, the clarity of the sound can be better appreciated.

Though I'm very impressed with both performances below (especially Robbie's excellent vid presentation)
I prefer the Tryos 5 'sound' for the reasons outlined above.

Tyros 5 Keyboard: The Shadows (Atlantis), Ronson Denmark:

I prefer the demo of the T4 to be honest it has a warmer sound, I thought the T5 sounded a bit bland and dry in comparison but that's only my opinion whereby I'm sure most would probably go along with your view.

Both instruments are no doubt excellent.

Both videos tell me more about personal settings and preferences, then about arranger quallity..

The T5 seems to be a very OOTB sound, Robbie Does seems to be a more personalised performance

Yep. Take the reverb OFF the T4, then compare them...
