Hi all

I'm trying to record audio through the USB interface of the s950 connected to a macbook air. So far only Cuba so recognised it. Sound forge did not detect any signal and garage band also doesn't work properly with this interface. Any suggestions. Thanks.

Sunny

I've never thought that it was possible at all.

Did you download and install the drivers?

Sunny,

Wait a minute - are you saying you want to record "audio" through the USB? This is not possible with the S950. You can record MIDI only through USB and you must have the correct drivers installed on the MacBook Air.

So far - only the MOX and Motif XF series can pass audio through the USB.

Sunny, if you wish to record vocals you cannot do this through the USB host connection. You would have to either record directly to the USB storage device using the keyboard's onboard recorder, or use the regular audio output and go to the line in of your PC.

Hi Gary,

You are right. I have most of the tracks recorded onto USB direct. Problem is that I cannot record audio styles songs onto USB directly. I think I need a PC for it. My Macbook Air doesnt have a audio In so Im looking for an external solution. But again its just for a song or two and I dont wanna spend too much on it.

Any suggestions???

Thanks

Sunny
