I thought this was originally an Italian song, but when see this, it's more like Disney "Italianized" a song for the movie.

Wow, Gunnar, thank you! I remember watching this film with my parents when I was a little boy; I loved it and remember well the scene when they eat spaghetti and end touching their mouths, like in a kiss, but had completely forgotten the song. Thank you for the memories!
