Soft 8 beat. I have listened to it a couple more times and other than the melody straying, my voice sounding gravely, and the balance off a little, it was pretty average.
I'm sort of embarrassed.

... no need to be embarrassed ... as I said in the other post, the only thing I thought was a little off was the harmony at the end ... as far as your voice, who hasn't sounded a little 'gravely' during alive performance ... it adds a certain 'realism' - have you ever heard Neil Diamond LIVE - his studio guys must be musical magicians !!!

Well, embarrassed or not I thought it was a fine performance. I especially liked the choice of a flute for the solo.

I do appreciate all the nice comments. I found another take on it on my recorder that seems a little better. If I get a chance after golf today, I may post it just for comparison. Every time I do a song, it is a little different.
I have no clue why I'm preoccupied with this song, except that it is an exceptional song!

I have never even played this song ever,...only heard it here last week,......I just have to get thru this hectic month with the holidays then I can bring the KB in the house and try to learn it on the S950.. ....
