Am I crazy? I don't mean in "we the Jury find the defendant" I mean in the fun way.

Okay, so I have the Venom synth. Which is a great synth, even though I don't play it a whole lot. It's on the floor at the moment. I don't want to give it up, even though I don't use it a whole lot. Some point, I may actually do a YouTube video on it. The crazy part is there are a couple of other synths, that I have had my eye on as well. The Micro-brute from Arturia, and the KORG MS-20. I even considered a Theremin as well. There is a low cost one on Amazon.com.

Is this normal? Is there any advice?

My advice is do what makes you happy. You only live once. If buying new gear is within your means and gives you pleasure ... then do it. Make yourself happy and don't feel guilty about it. Especially when the items you are interested in are quite inexpensive. Hey you can always sell them off in the future if you feel the need to and reclaim some of the money you spent. Sounds like cheap entertainment to me.

I just went on a spending frenzy. I did as Nigel suggested and bought "above average" quality and make it work. It seems to be the best price range for good deals.

I started with a P-155 and was just site-reading again, then decided to play out and got the pa900. then i wanted to record stuff and got the dp-24. next, i thought it'd be nice to have a great synth again in my lifetime, so i got the mox6. found out that the next model up had the card slot, so i traded for the moxf6. now i start thinking about live play and getting the bk-7m. of course, not sure my little pa will be good enough and i have no powered monitors......

The more I think about this, the more I am not going to spend the money, on another synth. I will just wind up where, I am now. With the Venom, just sitting on the floor.
