Hello everyone, at last my Tyros-5 was delivered last Friday. It was a delightful day for me. I'm glad my Tyros-5 had no problems so far. So I've been spending the last few days setting it up to my taste. Now, I've uploaded my first video performance in one go and I hope you like it. I played a tune called Crockett's Theme by Jan Hammer. For those of you who has Tyros-5 and like this music, feel free to download its Registration, Style, Multipads and some custom voices I used for this performance. The link is right below. But remember, some of the voices are from Yamaha premium packs, so you will have to change these voices for a suitable one in your Tyros, unless you also have these premium packs. Happy playing. Telmo. Download Link for the Settings: http://qshare.com/get/1318517/My_First_Play.rar.html

Telmo that was Just simply GREAT the best display yet to date on T5 better then the other vids because of your creativity I am thinking about getting a Roland xv5080 as well I have 3 sound cards I am not using and I am a fan of the older Roland sounds for this type of work and fillers on recordings pads, sound effects ect is it easy to use w T5 I am interested in you thoughts on how you got it to work so well once again Good work.

Thank you RON Like you said, for this type of work and fillers on recording pads. As you see, I use 2 sound modules, one is a very old classic Korg WavestationSR, because I'm fond of Texture pads and synthesized wierd sounds. And also I rely on Roland XV-5080 which is awesome for beautiful hybrid digital sounds, not to mention the fantastic Roland SRX and JV Boards which you can fit in and have a blast. I connect the XV-5080 audio out directly to Tyros-5 Aux-In, this way I can control both volumes using Tyros-5. If you only play with styles, perharps an additional sound module is not relevant. But, if you like to improvise with intros before hitting the start/play button of the style right away, if you wish to play with a full orchestra without the accompaniment ON, or adding more sound pallete to your keyboard, I think a module is an affordable and yet, compact choice. Specially when playing with no style, as you know, Tyros-5 can combine up to 3 voices, but with a sound module you can orchestrate any music and your creativity has no bounds. Happy playing, Telmo.

Agree with what everybody has said so far, a brilliant performance.
Not sure what the work opportunities are like in Brazil but you really ought to try and get into soundtrack work, as I am sure you would take to it like a duck to water.

Thelmo I Know you can knock it out of the box!!..... as it a challenging soundtrack besides beautiful & evokes so much passion to the Millions who saw the Godfather Saga,...thanx for your consideration to perform this on the T5.. When you create art, the world has to wait.
Good combination of gear... No matter HOW good our arrangers are, there are some sounds they just aren't that great at doing, some features they just don't have.
Being willing to work outside the box and integrate different types of gear can open up a world of possibilities!
But Telmo... Do you do gigs in clubs, restaurants, that kind of thing? Or are you mostly playing in a concert type surrounding? I really love how you play, but I'm not sure that there's anywhere in my area at least that would go for that big, show or concert type music.
If you gig out, be great to hear what you play to the crowd...

My friend who is a religious singer invites me very often to play for him when he performs at some houses of worship. I also peform mostly at Weddings, Sacred Cerimonies, where I can play some Soundtracks for backgrounds and sacred music. I also play very often at Sports and Tournaments Opening Events at my University. But what I play and perform at my youtube channel are my favorite. Best regards, Telmo.
