Remember this? Thank goodness I now have a roof-rake for snow. I'm too old to shovel the roof of the house off again.

The deer are bedded down in the snow right behind the house to get out of the wind and cold. They trample down the snow to make a depression in the snow, then spend the night there. They curl up like a dog in a dog bed.

More snow coming here tomorrow...grocery stores are nutty busy with people getting stuff in case of being snowed in.

That Sunday into Monday storm has me really concerned ... I've got a 6 hour gig for some nice $$$ that could be in jeopardy ...

I just turned down a last minute double gig for Wednesdays someone called about because of tomorrows snow ice storm coming. I'm concerned about this weekend also Tony sat/sun two more big gigs in jeorpardy......it's a wait and see at this time?..

"Mother of God...look at that "thing" coming. I'm close sounding the "over-performance" alarm for just about all of New Jersey with the exception of SENJ counties. I'm looking and listening to obs in the mid-west and it is much stronger of a winter storm than originally expected. It really doesn't look good for travel tomorrow in our region. Flights will be canceled. Schools will be closed. Please take this seriously and be safe"

Forecast here is for about 8 inches from that storm. Just found out, though, that snow removal from my driveway is tax deductible because if I can't get out of my driveway, I can't go to the jobs, which are all under contract. Therefore, it's no difference than snow removal from the parking lot of any business and I conduct my business from my home office. Today, though, I'm just gonna fire up the space heater, clean my junked up office, and get started in the taxes. One more reason to hate this time of year.

6 to 10 forecast here for Wednesday, but as long as it is clear on Thursday ... we are heading for NY to see a granddaughter in a school play ... we will be even more disappointed than she will if we don't get there ...
