You're right Diki. It's a bit daunting using arps as fills, but it sure is great when correct. Can't wait to write my own edits. So much opportunity and soooo fantastic a sound base. 4 splits will be interesting smile

Dave, I did not know that. How do I change that setting on the Pa900?

Graham,
I wish I knew off the top of my head, but I know it's a choice to select either "next measure" or "real time" .... somewhere. My kb isn't set up right now .... I'll try to get to it for you.

You have the option of arps coming in the second you ask for them, but the BIG difference is, they ALWAYS start on the 'one'.

Ask for an arp on the 'two' or the 'three', it will start alright... but it will start on the 'one' no matter when you ask for it. So the only way you don't mess up the timing is to always set it for waiting until the 'one' of the next bar.

UD, you talking about arrangers or WS's? AFAIK, Korg WS's have the same issues.

I read that there is a setting to make the arp trigger on the 2nd beat - but it doesn't say what happens smile

Dig in and enjoy your new instrument, Zuki. There is no "perfect" keyboard, except the one that is "perfect" for your needs.

The MOXF8 is one wickedly deluxe keyboard.

I'm really looking forward to hearing your music.

UD, I looked and looked through the manual and the keyboard and cannot see it, but then my wife tells me I can't see something unless it's right in front of my nose. smile

Some of it is quite cool... Call me a pop addict, but I can't help myself from smiling and bouncing along to 'Get Lucky' (Daft Punk), I love Bruno Mars (looking forward to his Superbowl stint), Katy Perry's 'Roar', even Robin Thicke's 'Blurred Lines'..!

Sure, I got a deep side, but I don't let that stop me from enjoying something simple, silly, and pure ear candy! Just don't watch the videos, simply LISTEN and most of this stupid kid culture stuff melts away.

Don't ever grow up! The NH's can do just fine without me, LOL
