Hi, has anybody been able to get in contact with AJ. I have been sending emails on his site and cell for almost two months with no luck, nobody is answering. I got the premium SSD upgrade kit with 512 ram expansion. It was very exiting initially because it is an amazing upgrade, "WHEN IT WORKS". I am one which wasn't lucky with the upgrade. I cannot bring my Ketron Audya in public because it often freezes while playing and have to reboot. There are many corrupt styles and voices which I think is the cause of this problem. I can't even use my favorite Sax voices because not all notes play when pressed. Yes it's that bad. I tried the restore function within the menu as I was told to do by a forum member but does nothing. I need replacement files which I don't have, as the SSD kit came pre-installed with the files. How do I go about this problem. In this state the keyboard is worthless, and I do need it. I never had this problem before the upgrade. Can somebody please tell me what to do or how to get in contact with AJ. Thanks....Frank

We are preparing the website for the new AJAMSONIC website and as such the servers to the email address linked to that site have been down occasionally.
Sorry for any delay(s) experienced. I didn't get any of the previous emails unfortunately but do kindly send me an email to the address above and we will send out a new SSD connector.
All problems are caused by the adapter ide ssd. I bought 2 online if a small fails any and I made rubber to measure so you press the right side of the connection and holds the disk ssd and the connector and so has not returned me to fail.

haven't installed sad yet, i gather the adaptor is the thing attached to the sad you sent me. Let me know if it was a faulty batch. And I am holding out for version 3.
Hi AJ. Here is Thanh Nguyen (thanh1912@yahoo.com). I had problem from the first day after installed Ajamsonic SSD (September 2013). When I turned on Audya, the screen shows Corrupted Style, then freeze. AJ told me need to replace a new connector that connect to SSD. I keep emailing you (ketron_tech@yahoo.com) to request the new connector, but never get answer. So please send me the new connector to made my Audya work, I have been waiting in 6 months. Thanks.

Hi Tom,
Mine does same, even to this day. Just switch off and boot again. Sometimes it takes as much as 5 start-ups, but it WILL boot up eventually.
Watch the "disk" led when starting. When off or permanently on, you can switch off immediately & try again. When it flickers on/off with the data on start-up, it is responding correctly & you can leave as it will boot properly.

You should contact AJ when it happened. I heard a lot of COMPLAINT about AJ after his SALE is over( Always had an excuse..). He better to be a good customer service if he want to sell something.
Hi Henni. Thanks for your information. I have two questions would like to ask.
1) After your Audya boot up (may take couple times to turn on and off the switch as you said), do you have any problems ( freeze again, not working properly....) after that?
2) Did you replace a new connector yet? If not, why do not you ask AJ for one?
As AJ did answer me, I am waiting to receive the connector soon, and hope it will solve the problem.

No, once it boots I have no other problems at all. I have to stand in for AJ though, he immediately sent me a new connecter. However, because it looked the same as the existing one, I have not as yet bothered to replace it.
Im not too finicky and having to boot more than once does not bother me at all. However, Ill now make a point of changing the connector with the newly supplied one. Most probably Im to blame for AJ responded promptly when I mentioned this problem.
I find AJ a real gentleman who completely honors his word.

Yes that has always been my experience with AJ. If you don't hear back from him it is only because he is not seeing the emails which could be due to a spam filter setting. Just persist and also post on this forum and he will always respond. AJ always helps when he hears about your problem.
I would like to add my 2 cents here...I have a hunch something is not quite right with AJAMSonic - after exchanging several emails about a purchase (a replacement hard drive - AjamSonic for the SD near $200) I finally decided to buy it. Sent the money last week, and not one word since - even though I have sent a couple of messages asking what has happened, even the office phone is not accepting messages, always saying it is full!
Now, this may not be so, but I have seen many firms suddenly go under "overnight" IE with no prior warning and for someone to suddenly stop all contact IMMEDIATELY after getting your money, is suspicious in the least.
All I am saying really, is that at the moment regarding purchases be especially careful.

I have been in communication with Miden above and a full refund has been issued via Paypal with regards to this transaction due to a communique we received from him today changing his mind from trying to upgrade his SD1 keyboard to selling as is instead.
Hi @all, I bought the Ajamsonic upgrade around chrismas and installed it with an adapter,bought over amazon( 12 EURO ), because another german musician (Snoopy) gave this hint. I never had an error described in this thread and I'm very satisfied. The only issue I have is the startup time of nearly 4 minutes. This is definitly too long for a reboot on stage. Another point with the audya ( not espcially an ajamsonic problem) is, that all your programming work with pen styles, programs and AJ stuff is bound to the hardware. I pray, that my audya never gets damaged. With my Tyros I would put my USB stick into another device and "it's mine". With my Audya this could never be possible. You can't even put your ssd into another device, it won't work. You can't make a restore from a backup to a new ssd, it won't work. You only can pray and be careful.

My, my my! Such arrogance! Have you had any dealings with AJ as yet? No, I did not think so... Yet you dump your arrogance over here?
Let me fill you in: If there is one who delivers on his promises, then it is AJ. You should really search for and read all posts where he is mentioned before making such uncalled for statements mate! It is very bad manners to do so!

Hi AJ. Here is Thanh Nguyen (thanh1912@yahoo.com). I received new connector (I call 2nd connector) and installed it last night. Now I have two problems instead of one problem as original connector that came with SSD (I call 1st connector).
Problem #1: When I turned on Audya, the screen still shows Corrupted Style, then freeze. The same as 1st connector. I need to turn off and on again.
Problem #2: When I turned on Audya, if there is no Problem #1, then at "Loading Audio Resources...", it freeze, no green light at "Disk" button (for 1st connector, steady green light shows at "Disk" button). I need to turn off and on again.
So, I think 2nd connector is bad just as 1st connector. How do you think AJ. You may need to mail 3rd connector to see if it can solve the problems. Please help. Thanks.
