No, once it boots I have no other problems at all. I have to stand in for AJ though, he immediately sent me a new connecter. However, because it looked the same as the existing one, I have not as yet bothered to replace it.
Im not too finicky and having to boot more than once does not bother me at all. However, Ill now make a point of changing the connector with the newly supplied one. Most probably Im to blame for AJ responded promptly when I mentioned this problem.
I find AJ a real gentleman who completely honors his word.

Yes that has always been my experience with AJ. If you don't hear back from him it is only because he is not seeing the emails which could be due to a spam filter setting. Just persist and also post on this forum and he will always respond. AJ always helps when he hears about your problem.
I would like to add my 2 cents here...I have a hunch something is not quite right with AJAMSonic - after exchanging several emails about a purchase (a replacement hard drive - AjamSonic for the SD near $200) I finally decided to buy it. Sent the money last week, and not one word since - even though I have sent a couple of messages asking what has happened, even the office phone is not accepting messages, always saying it is full!
Now, this may not be so, but I have seen many firms suddenly go under "overnight" IE with no prior warning and for someone to suddenly stop all contact IMMEDIATELY after getting your money, is suspicious in the least.
All I am saying really, is that at the moment regarding purchases be especially careful.

I have been in communication with Miden above and a full refund has been issued via Paypal with regards to this transaction due to a communique we received from him today changing his mind from trying to upgrade his SD1 keyboard to selling as is instead.
Hi @all, I bought the Ajamsonic upgrade around chrismas and installed it with an adapter,bought over amazon( 12 EURO ), because another german musician (Snoopy) gave this hint. I never had an error described in this thread and I'm very satisfied. The only issue I have is the startup time of nearly 4 minutes. This is definitly too long for a reboot on stage. Another point with the audya ( not espcially an ajamsonic problem) is, that all your programming work with pen styles, programs and AJ stuff is bound to the hardware. I pray, that my audya never gets damaged. With my Tyros I would put my USB stick into another device and "it's mine". With my Audya this could never be possible. You can't even put your ssd into another device, it won't work. You can't make a restore from a backup to a new ssd, it won't work. You only can pray and be careful.

My, my my! Such arrogance! Have you had any dealings with AJ as yet? No, I did not think so... Yet you dump your arrogance over here?
Let me fill you in: If there is one who delivers on his promises, then it is AJ. You should really search for and read all posts where he is mentioned before making such uncalled for statements mate! It is very bad manners to do so!
When defrauding another, rather stick to the facts mate. Our ears are not your dustbins, so don't you dump your unjustified opinion on us...
