Yea Baby, Sammy was a wonder. I think he was considered #3 in the Rat Pack behind Sinatra and Martin but he was way more talented then Dean. Sad to see him waving that cigarette around because that's what did him in.
Really nice keyboard work and great brass sounds by Paul Schaffer. He's a top player but his over the top personality is hard for me to take. I still watch Letterman but the band is slipping doing the same tunes over and over and Schaffer thinks he's Elton John with all the stupid outfits and glasses.
I loved that band back then and wish they would have kept if 4 pieces instead of the overblown group it is now.

Paul is a killer player and has backed just about everybody. His role as sidekick to Dave is less than impressive. Look out Dave. One of the Jimmy's is about to make you eat his dust.
