wow, over 50 views and no answer

what happened to this Ketron forum?
what happened to Audya?
what happened to future of Audya, to new OS?
what happened to UK style packs, to Robert Mess. ?

is this it for Ketron Arrangers?
no improvement to OS, no updated model for Audya?
unfortunately, i think i know the answer to my questions...

Leezone,

I think we do have all our same bad experiences with Ketron. What do you expect? It is like always. You have asked several times for UK style packs, I saw this - and it is really a pitty that you do not get any answere.

Lee,

Sorry for the delay ... yes, it is possible (as now) to save the SOUND. However, you will have to manually press the required intro once the Registration has loaded before you start playing.

With the BLOCLK Registration, you can also save a song made up of
* Single Registrations (which you can use for sound changes only if you want).
* STYLES
* SOUNDS
* TEXT FILES
* MP3
* WAVE
* MIDIFILES
... etc.

The AJAMSONIC SUPER STYLES PACK will soon be released and I believe you will be pleased with these as well.

Thanks,

AJ

AJ

First. Thank you for answering

You say we can save sound with reg.
Is this with OS 5. Alone or we need AJAMSONIC?

Also, we have to manually press the intro after loading reg.
That's the problem...
I can't remember which of the 3 intros I chose for my repertoire of over 200 songs.

We need to be able to save the intro,
Could it be that hard to implement?
Sounds like a very basic function.

Please consider it... Thanks

Lee,

AjamSonic does this but not sure of OS 5 (I will have to look into a non-AjamSonic Audya series unit and confirm).

A small 'fix/suggestion' for now (until it's implemented) is to save the song name with the intro number so you know which Intro to press when you go to load a registration ... e.g. "Slave to Love Int1" - Song is Slave to love and you know to press INTRO 1 to start this song.

However ... you're right - saving the INTRO within the registration is definitely something we should be looking into ... and will. It saves an extra button push!

Please also note (and many are not aware of this) that certain features and functions e.g. Korg's slider that crossfades from 1 audio file to another (mp3) can only be implemented in another manufacturer's keyboard if it is licensed or authorized and this usually means an additional cost to the unit. So because a manufacturer has a specific function which is very useful and helpful - it doesn't just require a few lines of code to be implemented in another's. Legal rights have to be considered too - which explains why certain features (though easy and in some cases required) may not be introduced into a product although there is a demand for it .... unless the end users would be willing to pay the additional cost involved (and the AUDYA is already 'up there').

Thanks,
