Hi,

I'm curious to how much difference there is between the 7000 - 6500 - and maybe 6000. The 6000 and 6500 are looking like real bargins now. I would like to know if the organs are superior on the 7000 and how much so.

Jerry

Hi Jerry, There are too many great differences to list here - just a few - All the sounds have been resampled, the organ section has been virtually 'rebuilt' with some superb sounds and of course the addition of the SD card and USB........
Make the effort and go and audition one at your dealer - you won't be disappointed.

Hi Jerry,
if you are interested, on my homepage you can read the 'pure technical' differences between the KN6X00 and the KN7000. See under the button 'keyboard'. Maybe this helps you for knowing some 'facts'.
Some hightlights are: the SD-card feature, the soundsystem, the polyphony, the organtabs and the new design (dustcover).
The KN6x000 is nevertheless an excellent keyboard and to my opinion for a good bargin, every penny on second hand market worth.
Best regards,
Cees

Thank you Guys

I will explore more I'm just a keyboard junkie and doing some thinking -(which usually leads to trouble)
I can't play for beans but that doesn't stop me from enjoying every minute of playing

I am looking to get rid of my Yamaha 2000 so I am exploring. Like I need another Keyboard

I also have a Yamaha US-1 organ and A Genesys.

I watch the post here and there is a lot good info .

Hi,
you sound just like me.
One major difference that springs to mind, is that the KN7 uses sd cards for storage. Its also capable of recording audio files and saving them to sd card via Panasonic SD Audio PC Writing Kit ( Optional Extra)
best wishes

Hi Mainer,(Jerry),
I have a KN6500 for sale----but if the dollars are not to difficult, I would buy the KN7000. You do not make purchases like this often, so make it a good one. As some have said, you will not disappointed.
If not---Contact me. John C.
