Tyros 5



PA3x



The PA3x, it just jumps right out in front of you with it's powerful sound. I know many have said that the T5 sounds more live and brighter than previous Tyros models but I think it still mellow compared to the Korg.

So there you have it BOTH sound GREAT

But I lean TYROS 5 for sure..

The T5 demo is only using audio styles. Knowing how you feel about audio but are impressed with these ones, are these a step up from the s950's audio so you think ?

Naw .... Donny hates the audio styles, remember?

It's possible the T5 audio styles have a different sound for some reason, be it EQ, sample quality, etc, to them, and your paying twice as much for the KB.. vs the audio styles on the S-950 which I'll never use. I would need to actually A/B both units to find out. But as of now for me I'm not a fan at all of Audio styles and their lack of editing parts..
Will be interesting to see what the NEXT S-series arranger brings to the table.

Both sound great for sure...

And thats why i decided on the Pa3x, it allows you ( the player ) much more control over your sound as well as your performance..... Both in real time as during the preparation of a performance set-up.

It has always been a simple formula...you get what best suits your needs, and that includes the overall sound you want to hear coming out of your speakers.

Hasn't failed me yet.

I try em all,.......what works stays, what doesn't gets dumped, simple formula. Right now its the S950 holding its own.
