Not new John..... I did this years ago smile However, I prefer the Detune setting of 32 or 64 rather than 127...

Thanks John

I guess I am about twelve years late for class. I have it now, anyway.

Hi Bernie,Thanks for your comment as after Bill's I thought I must have been asleep when attending those Technics Dealer training days with people like Phil Leader,I am sure he had not covered this tip!!!.
On Youtube there is a number of tutorials on the KN7000 but they are in German and as I only speak a little German they leave me behind.they have been produced by "Musiker Lanze" and appear to be very good, I am trying to follow them as I believe this fantastic keyboard or ours has yet many more hidden gems,as it can still come up with many error codes not even listed in the manual or service manual. This begs what is still yet to be found???.
Perhaps if you find an error code come up,please make a note of what you were doing or trying to do when it appeared and forward it to me I will try to draw up a table of possible answers to help us all learn more, also any more tips are welcome.
I had worked as a Yamaha Multi Keyboard specialist including the great HS range teaching people how to edit sounds using the same system as used in the one and only DX7 but working with sampled sound "NX" is much more advanced and at 57 years young I am still at school LOL.
best regards John.

I assume that you guys also know that you can assign a foot switch to the pitch bend function. But, like Bill, I prefer to use aftertouch.

Here is a KN7 track I helped Tony Pegler with m-a-n-y years ago for Technote. Have a listen to the trumpet. No mod wheel or footswitch used, purely sound edit and touch.
